COAD Resources
The COAD is made up of 6 working groups that creates a structure for efficiency and effectiveness. We ask that members determine which group that they would like to serve in that suits their mission, passion, capacity, and resources. Members can serve in more than one working group, however, we do not want the duties or responsibilities of COAD to become burdensome on any member. Below is a guide describing the different working groups to help with that discernment. Also attached is a recommended training list for each of the coordinating working groups.
Winter Shelter Program
COAD and the Homeless Coalition of Hays County have partnered together to build an Emergency Winter Shelter plan. The details of this program can be found here. A Lunch & Learn was hosted in January of 2023. The presentation + the Winter Shelter After Action Reports are posted for public information below.
